Lyon County is facing a stray cat crisis. An estimated 10,000 community cats live throughout the county, while more than 1,000 cats are currently waiting for help. Every day, new requests arrive.
The Street Cats Club receives no city funding and is powered entirely by volunteers. Lolapalooza helps fund the Lola Love Fund, providing free spay/neuter services that prevent unwanted litters before they begin.

Lolapalooza directly funds the Lola Love Fund, which exists because too many families want to do the right thing but cannot afford spay/neuter services.
When cats are not fixed, one small situation can become a crisis fast. More kittens are born. More cats end up outside. More families become overwhelmed. More animals suffer.

A Lolapalooza sponsorship helps provide free spay/neuter services for local cat owners, preventing future stray cats before they are ever born.
Since the program's inception in 2023, 170 cats have been spayed/neutered, providing critical support for low-income families.
In 2025, Lolapalooza raised nearly $5,000 for the Lola Love Fund. This year, the need is even greater. The Street Cats Club is on track to fix more cats than ever before, but demand continues to outpace available resources. Every sponsorship helps expand access to lifesaving spay/neuter services.
