The Street Cats Club is a 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization and licensed animal shelter operating out of Emporia, Kansas. We provide trap/neuter/return and foster care for hundreds of cats each year. Our programs focus on improving the lives of stray cats through action and education. Our EIN is 86-1922541.

The Street Cats Club is dedicated to improving the lives of stray cats through trap/neuter/return, supporting colony caregivers, and fostering sick/injured/orphaned cats.

The purpose of the Street Cats Club is to improve the lives of stray cats throughout the Lyon County, KS area by:
- controlling and reducing the growth of the community cat population through sterilization via trap/neuter/return
- providing foster care for sick, injured, or orphaned stray cats
- supporting cat colony caregivers with resources such as cat food and winter shelters

- preventing unwanted kittens by providing no-cost spay/neuter for low-income cat owners

The Street Cats Club was created in 2019 by founder Victoria Partridge. It was originally started as a program under the umbrella of the Humane Society of the Flint Hills (HSFH). This allowed the group to partner with the HSFH while it created its board of directors, finances, volunteer base, etc. After one year in the HSFH incubator program, the group moved out on its own and began operating independently. In 2021, the Street Cats Club became an official 501c3 nonprofit charitable organization. And, in 2022, the organization became a licensed shelter in the state of Kansas.
